Who are we?
This website is operated by two independent entities: Lawyerlinq B.V. (Chamber of Commerce No. 62701592) and LLQ Staffing B.V., operating under the trade name Lawyerlinq Direct (Chamber of Commerce No. 99791625). Both offices are located at Nicolaas Witsenkade 38, 1017 ZT Amsterdam. Each entity serves as an independent data controller for the processing of your personal data.
What data do we process?
Depending on your relationship with us, this covers your name and contact details, professional details such as your CV, work experience, area of expertise and availability, account credentials, IP address and browser specifications, as well as communication history.
We do not process sensitive personal data, with the exception of Lawyerlinq Direct employees, for whom we process copies of identification documents containing national identification numbers (BSN) and health-related data, strictly in accordance with legal obligations.
Lawyerlinq B.V.
Platform and communities
Lawyerlinq B.V. manages exclusive legal communities for law firms and corporate legal departments. We process the data of platform users and participating legal professionals to execute agreements. Account data is retained for the active duration of the account and for a maximum of one year thereafter.
Talent pool
Legal professionals can voluntarily sign up to be considered for assignments via our communities. Processing is based on consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting moderator@lawyerlinq.com, after which we will delete your data. We retain your information for two years from registration or your last recorded activity. After this period, we will ask if you wish to remain in the database.
Newsletter and email
We keep our professional network informed about our services and market developments. This processing is based on consent, or on legitimate interest for existing relations. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any of our mailings. After three years of inactivity, we will ask you to reconfirm your subscription.
Lawyerlinq Direct
LLQ Staffing B.V. is registered as an employment agency in compliance with the WAADI (Allocation of Workers by Intermediaries Act).
Talent pool
Legal professionals can voluntarily sign up for secondment opportunities via Lawyerlinq Direct. This talent pool operates entirely independently from the Lawyerlinq B.V. pool; registration with one entity does not constitute registration with the other. Processing is based on consent. You can withdraw your consent via direct@lawyerlinq.com. Retention period: two years.
Secondment administration
For seconded employees, we process the documentation necessary for executing employment contracts and complying with statutory duties, including payroll administration and absence records. Retention period: payroll records seventy-two months (seven years), employment contracts sixty months (five years) following the termination of employment.
Data sharing with WeLegal B.V.
Lawyerlinq B.V. may share personal data with our sister company, WeLegal B.V., for instance to inform you of their services or to assess your potential suitability for projects via WeLegal. WeLegal B.V. acts as an independent data controller governed by its own privacy statement. Please see welegal.nl for details.

We do not transfer personal data outside the EEA without ensuring appropriate safeguards are in place.

You can manage your preferences using the cookie banner during your first visit or adjust them at any time via the cookie settings.
Your rights
You hold the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of your data, alongside rights to data portability and objection. Any consent previously granted can be withdrawn at any time.
Please send your request to admin@lawyerlinq.com, specifying which entity your request concerns. We will respond within four weeks.
You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Security
We safeguard your personal data through SSL encryption, strict access controls, and binding contractual terms with all service providers. If you suspect a data breach, please report it immediately to admin@lawyerlinq.com.

The most current version of this statement is always available at www.lawyerlinq.com. We will notify you by email in the event of any substantial changes.
